Baku Maeda Exhibition / EYE OF FIRE Figure

This exhibition is centered around Mugi Maeda's representative work, EYE OF FIRE figures.

“EYE OF FIRE” is an original character whose prototype was announced on Instagram on July 15, 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic.
He has a basic form of a pop devil who came to earth from the demon world, with burning yellow eyes and a beast-like face, and a blue body, and one of the characteristics of this character is that he can always change his appearance freely. . After posting this on Instagram, he became a hot topic in the United States, and for several years now, people have been fascinated by this "someone with burning eyes."

This EYE OF FIRE Figure is an art figure project that focuses on the devil character, but also transforms all objects into EOF. The basic form of "EYE OF FIRE" is a demon with a blue body as mentioned above, but its fiery eyes change color and possess monsters, animals, people, things, and gods, all of which are "EYE OF FIRE". It will become a character that can be called "FIRE".
We are also planning collaborations with various IPs in the future, so please look forward to it.
Production/sales will be handled by COMMON BASE, which produces various figures and engages in art collaborations with the aim of supporting artists.

In addition to the figures, a number of EYE OF FIRE original drawings and giclee works will be displayed and sold at the venue.

Baku Maeda's Solo Exhibition "EYE OF FIRE Figure" at COMMON BASE GALLERY

This exhibition will mainly consist of Mugi Maeda's representative works, EYE OF FIRE figures.
EYE OF FIRE is an original character whose prototype was unveiled on July 15, 2020 on Instagram During COVID-19.
It has the basic form of a POP demon that came to earth from the demon world with fiery yellow eyeballs, a beastly face, and a blue body, and one of the characteristics of this character is that it is always free to change its appearance.

This EYE OF FIRE Figure will be an art figure project that will be based on the demon character, but will also transform any object into an EOF. The basic form of "EYE OF FIRE" is, as mentioned above, a blue-bodied demon , but its burning eyes, changing colors in various ways, possess monsters, animals, people, objects, and gods, all becoming characters that can be called "EYE OF FIRE."
