KOUSUKE SHIMIZU × "Jungle Emperor Leo"

Osamu Tezuka's early masterpiece, “Jungle Emperor Leo,” influenced numerous creators in Japan and abroad.

This figure is the latest in a series of figures that depict the adorable form of the work's main character, Leo, by splitting him.

The figure will be colored with Leo's colored bangs as seen in the “Jungle Emperor” color manga manuscript.

This is the fourth in the series of collaborations, and the figures will now be available for sale in Japan as well as Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, and will be exhibited and sold in each of these countries in turn.

Based in Tokyo, he creates works incorporating various techniques and ideas, such as analog collage, silkscreen, illustration, graphics, and semi-three-dimensional objects. He has held solo exhibitions both in Japan and overseas, including in Tokyo, Osaka, and Germany (Berlin), and has participated in various group exhibitions and exhibitions both in Japan and overseas. In addition to creating his own works, he has also provided his work to COMME des GARÇONS, KIDILL, STUSSY (USA), and advertising media.
