2PAC / Kosuke Kawamura Art Exhibition at THE PLUG

河村康輔による、2PACをフィーチャーしたアート展が3日間限定でTHE PLUGにて開催

河村康輔による、LAの伝説的アイコン「2PAC」をフィーチャーしたアート展が、3月11日(金)から3月13日(日)までの3日間限定でTHE PLUGにて開催されます。
本展では、2Pac財団が保有するアーカイヴ写真の中から河村康輔が選び抜いた3枚の写真を素体とし、シュレッダーコラージュにて分解と再構築を施した作品が並びます。
それらの作品は、ユニバーサルミュージックのグループ会社であるBravadoを通じた交渉による2Pac財団(The Shakur Estate)からの公認のもと、日本の技術力で顕在化され、RICOHの2.5次元立体特殊プリント”StareReap(ステアリープ)”作品、360°GRAPHICSのネオシルクキャンバス作品、トレーディングカードに着想を得たネオシルクキャンバス作品が組み込まれたアートカード等、新たなアート作品に触れて頂ける内容になっています。
作品は全てエディション制となり、世界数量限定での発売となっております。
またマーチャンダイズにはスウェットフーディやスウェットパンツ、Tシャツを用意しております。

An art exhibition by Kosuke Kawamura featuring the legendary artist 2PAC will be held at THE PLUG for three days only, from March 11 (Fri) to March 13 (Sun).

Kosuke Kawamura selected 3 photos of 2PAC from his Estate’s archives, and he shredded and collaged them in his way for this exhibition.
Authorized by the Shakur Estate, these pieces are empowered and actualized by the Japanese latest printing technique.
You can see RICOH's 2.5D special print "StareReap”, 360°GRAPHIC's neo-silk canvas works, and art cards on neo-silk canvas inspired by trading cards.
In addition, exclusive merchandise such as hoody sweatshirts, sweatpants and T-shirts will be available. Please come and see the valuable works.
