Lee Chengjung "vessel" will be held at Shibuya elephant studio on December 10th and 11th. This is Lee's first exhibition focusing on paintings.

Lee ChengJung was born in 2000 in Taiwan. He has been influenced by Japanese manga and animation culture since he was a child and has been in Japan since 2016. When he was in high school, he started posting comics to publishers and produced various works such as drawings, paintings, photographs, videos and sculptures. In 2018, he was scouted as a model and worked as Bryan Lee. In 2020, he held his first solo exhibition BRYAN LEE EXHIBITION "Hole", and in May 2021 he announced the manga "Swimming too beautifully" at a joint exhibition, and has been featured as a cartoonist and model. ..

Lee tried to abstract human beings through the production of this work. While having the simplicity of being drawn with a simple outline like a still life, he coexists with seemingly contradictory personalities such as human sinfulness, stupidity, and cruelty, and stimulates the imagination of what fantasy and fun see. increase. Lee, who came up with the concept of "vessel" from his thoughts on the natural environment, says, "Because of the modern society with advanced technology, we should look at our feet and think about the coexistence of nature and humans."
