COMMON BASE, which supports artists, will be selling blank body items.
We aim to create clothing for artists who are active in various industries such as art, fashion, and music, and to create items that will be supported by artists as bodies that reflect their creativity.
The director is Katsutoshi Nishimoto, who has a strong passion for plain items, and the lineup includes carefully selected items.
The t-shirts are 9 ounces, the sweatshirts are 15 ounces, and the extremely thick fabrics are made from open-end yarn and are knitted from scratch. We aimed to create items that stand out even though they are plain, such as silhouettes that take advantage of the texture and color of the fabric and the thickness of the fabric, and seam pockets on sweat tops that take practicality into account while taking into consideration the print area.
It also has elements that support creativity in various parts when using the body, such as a brand name that allows you to write the title, a blank hang tag, and a special bag that can be opened and closed with a slider.
These elements will be updated every season, including changing specifications and adding new colors and items, in accordance with the needs of artists.
COMMON BASE started in 2019 with the goal of supporting artists, and has so far collaborated with various artists such as NISHIMOTO IS THE MOUTH, Kosuke Kawamura, and COIN PARKING DELIVERY to co-produce and sell works and merchandise, as well as IP collaborations. I have done it. Under these circumstances, we felt the need for a body with a special taste that matched the demand and price preferred by artists, so we have been preparing this plain item initiative.
We aim to create items that are supported by artists, both as everyday wear and as bodies for creation.

■Katsutoshi Nishimoto
Born in Saitama Prefecture in 1979. Director of “Nishimoto is the Mouse”. After leaving the popular apparel brand, he started "Nishimoto is the Mouse" in earnest in 2020. He has appeared on various media and YouTube channels, and is actively increasing his exposure by starting his own YouTube channel, "NISHIMOTO IS THE YOUTUBE."
